Lake County Movathon Challenge

Westmeath GAA have launched a movathon challenge for the month of March. The idea is to run, walk, jog or swim 5KM, donate to the cause online and to then nominate 5 friends to do the same.

As part of our clubs Couch to 5KM challenge that our members have been taking part in over recent weeks we are encouraging our club members to get out over the coming weeks and support this worthy cause.

All donations received will go towards supporting the various county teams as well helping out with a refurbishment of Cusack Park. More details can be found on the Westmeath GAA Official Social Media pages.

February Fitness

Our Fitness Classes came to an end last week. We hope all those taking part over the last 6 weeks enjoyed them.

Thank you to all the coaches who gave up their time each week. There was a great variety of exercises each week. Thanks to Finian Newman, Lorna Daly, David Quinn, Kevin Tormey & Peter Tormey for putting together great workouts.

Our sincere thanks to Sinead Tormey for coordinating our fitness classes. A huge amount of work went in to the organisation of classes, so well done Sinead.
