Junior Football Final 2021

It was not to be our day on Saturday and we offer our congratulations to Castletown Finea Coole Whitehall on their worthy win and wish them all the very best in next year’s Intermediate Championship.

We on the other hand look forward to next year’s Junior Championship campaign and to whatever permutations and challenges that it may bring. We will continue our focus on playing quality football in the best facilities that we can provide.

Each and every player who donned the Blue and White jersey throughout the season did so with pride and commitment to the club. We salute you as the great ambassadors for Bunbrosna that you are and thank you for the sacrifices you have made to make Bunbrosna GAA club the wonderful club that it is.

The following was posted to our Club WhatsApp after the match and it perfectly encapsulates the feelings of the entire club and all of its supporters.

“It's been a great year for Bunbrosna GAA , culminating in yesterday’s county final. We didn't get the result we hoped for but we owe huge thanks to our players and management for their hard work which earned them a place in the County Final. We are very proud of you all. Great to see so many donning the blue and white of Bunbrosna and especially the underage members of our club who were proudly supporting their heroes” MF

There is a full report on the match elsewhere in this paper.
