Club Lotto

Club Lotto will take place next Sunday at 12:00pm in the Old Dressing Rooms for anyone that would like to attend. Our Lotto Jackpot is now at a record €13,800. It continues to be our primary source of revenue to fund the day to day running of the club.

In addition, Lotto revenue is funding the continued development at the pitch which will benefit all in our community not just our players. Over the next number of months, our walking track will be completed and will be fully floodlit.

Our Lotto can be done online by clicking on https://bunbrosnagaa.clubifyapp.com/products. Online entries must be in by 10:00am. Thank you to all who support our club lotto.

Inny Shamrocks U13s

Hard luck to our U13s who lost out to a very strong Cill Oige GAA Club side on Sunday. Despite a brave and valiant effort in Kilbeggan our opponents were fully deserving winners.

The lads never dropped their heads and showed tremendous attitude and character to battle on to the very end and as Mick Gordon’s final whistle sounded, the lads were still pushing forward looking for scores. Congratulations to Cill Oige on a great win. Well done and thanks to referee Mick Gordon who had a great game today.

Our U13s have had a fantastic season, won a league title back in May and went on to play great football in the Championship to reach todays final.

The team made great progress this season and massive credit must go to the coaching team of Ger Heduvan, Alan Keena, Gordon Coloe and Eoin Clarke.

This was a very long season which ran from March to October with the U13s training twice a week during all that time.  We would like to sincerely thank our coaches for all the time and effort put into looking after this team.

Thanks to the parents for your continued support in getting players to training and matches and all the fabulous support and encouragement from the sidelines.

Thanks to the players themselves who worked so hard all season and done everything that was asked of them.  There is a bright future ahead for this very promising bunch of young men.

A well deserved break now for players and coaches before we go at it all again in 2024. Afterwards the lads went back to Eddie Rockets who had their post match meal kindly sponsored by Declan McGuiness. Thanks to Declan and all the Staff at Eddie Rockets.

Scór Leinster Semi Final

After securing the Westmeath Scór County Tiltes last Sunday night, our Musicans and Set Dancers travelled to Allenwood GAA in Co. Kildare on Sunday to take part in the Leinster Semi Finals. We will have a full report on this in next weeks notes.

Westmeath Quid Games

Westmeath County Board is hoping to raise over €200,000 from a major fundraiser it is holding on the 29th October next that's loosely based on the format of the hit Netflix show, Squid Game.

Quid Game, will see one representative from each of Westmeath's 47 clubs plus 13 others, going head-to-head with the winner taking home €10,000 for their club. Eoin Cawley will be Bunbrosna GAA’s representative. Each club has to raise €1500 to take part in the competition.

Eoin’s fundraising has been going very well and we encourage people to continue to support him through his fundraising link which can be found on our social media pages.
