Club Lotto
Club Lotto will take place next Sunday at 12:00pm in the Old Dressing Rooms for anyone that would like to attend. Our Lotto Jackpot is now at a record €14,400 which would certainly be a welcome lift for the month of January!!! It continues to be our primary source of revenue to fund the day to day running of the club.
Our Lotto can be done online by clicking on https://bunbrosnagaa.clubifyapp.com/products. Online entries must be in by 10:00am. Thank you to all who support our club lotto.
Walking Track
We are delighted to report that our Walking Track is lit up and available for use. This has been part of the long term plans for the development of the club and is a wonderful facility to have. This is a significant development at the pitch and will be enjoyed by the loca community for years to come. Thanks to Reynolds Electrcial for installing the lights around the track.
Bunbrosna GAA Lights Up
Ireland Lights Up’ encourages GAA clubs across the 32 counties to light up and bring communities together to walk and talk in a safe environment during the dark winter evenings.
Starting on Wednesday next, 10th of January, we will be switching on our walking track lights and inviting club members and members of the local community to get out and walk with us between 6.30 and 7.30pm.
The walks will continue every Wednesday evening for the next 6 weeks. Participants are asked to register on the night and we hope to see a good turnout.
What a great (and free) way to get out and get active and start the New Year off on the right foot. Proper footwear and high vis jackets are advised!
Irish Life – ‘Every Step Counts Challenge’ 2024
In conjunction with ‘Ireland Lights Up,’ we’ve also enlisted for the ‘Irish Life – Every Step Counts Challenge’ 2024. Irish Life calls on clubs to collectively cover 4,000km over a five-week period (Jan 10th to Feb 12th).
There’s a total of €30,000 in club funding up for grabs from Irish Life, and clubs reaching the target qualify for a draw with prizes like O’ Neill’s vouchers.
Participants are requested to download the ‘My Life’ App and follow the steps in the attached pictures to record steps on smartphones/wearable trackers (Apple Watch, Fit-Bit, etc.)
Inny Shamrocks AGM
The Inny Shamrocks Underage AGM is next Wednesday evening, 10th January, in Bun at 7:30pm.
It would be great if as many as possible can attend to help get the 2024 season off to a good start. Everyone is welcome.

Best Wishes
All at Bunbrosna GAA wish to offer our best wishes to our former manager, Anthony Maher, who returns to his home club of Ballynacargy to manage their Intermediate team for the coming year. Anthony gave two great years of service to Bun and we are extremely grateful for his dedication to us.
Anthony has been a hugely influential figure over the last number of years in the underage amalgamation between the two clubs and Inny Shamrocks continues to develop and progress which is great to see. Thanks very much Dags and best of luck for the year ahead.
