Club Lotto

No winner of Club Lotto on Sunday. Numbers drawn were 8, 21, 23 & 26. 1 Match 3 was Paul Bardon. Sellers Prize went to Bridget Molloy. Next draw on Sunday 3rd November. Jackpot will be €4,200.

We are very grateful for the ongoing support we receive towards our Lotto from Club members and supporters, far and wide, without which we would not be able to run our Club.

Official Opening

We will be hosting the Official opening of our Astro and Playground facilities next Saturday, 26th October. The day will consist of many activities including underage games and a legends game. The official opening will take place at 3:00pm with the Astro Pitch being opened in memory of Michael McCormack, our former Chairperson and the Playground being opened in memory of Kathleen Moran, our former Secretary. Both Michael and Kathleen were hugely dedicated and loved members of our Club and we hope you can join us on the day to celebrate their memory. A social night in Tormey’s will follow from 9:00pm with music by Shane Bardon.

Inny Shamrocks U16s

Well done to Inny Shamrocks U16s in the Championship Semi-Final on Saturday last when they recorded a fine win over neighbours Millmore Gaels.

As expected with any local derby, this was a tough, competitive match where every ball was keenly  contested and both teams were made to work hard for every score.  Our lads took their goal chances at vital stages of the game which was the difference in the end.

Credit to both teams on the very high standard of football in what was a very entertaining match for the large crowd in attendance.

Our lads can now look forward to a County Final with where they will take on Delvin/St. Paul’s on the 3rd November. Well done to all the players and coaches on this great achievement.

Sunday Double Header

We had a busy morning on Sunday as we hosted a double header at the pitch. In the first game Garrycastle defeated Clann Gaels in the Minor Championship. In second game Garrycastle defeated The Downs in the Division 2 Minor Final when they recorded a one point win.

Well done to everyone who helped out with organising both games and ensuring everyone got parked safely. There was a huge turn out to both these games so well done to all involved.

Bun Grounds Crew

Grounds Crew meet every Tuesday at 10:30am in Bun for a cup of tea and to do some work around the pitch - all welcome!
