Club Lotto
No winners of Club Lotto on Sunday. Numbers drawn were 22, 23, 24 & 25. No Match 3 winners. Special Prize went to Hughie Tormey. Sellers Prize went to Eddie Newman Next draw on Sunday 14th December. Jackpot will be €4,100.
We are very grateful for the ongoing support we receive towards our Lotto from Club members and supporters, far and wide, without which we would not be able to run our Club.
AGM
Bunbrosna GAA & LGFA AGM took place on Sunday last in Tormey’s Pub. Our Chairman, Peter Maguire, opened the meeting with a minute's silence for deceased family members and friends of the club during the year.
Edel Kiernan then gave a detailed account of the club's year. She detailed the range of different activities that took place during the year. She outlined the great success of the Summer Camp in June and pointed to the growing numbers taking part year on year.
Edel highlighted the great being done at organising events such as the Ireland Lights Up campaign ran in February as well as the First Aid Course given by Paddy Mulligan.
She congratulated all involved in the Underage Coaching, Playdates Group, Trunk or Treat as well congratulating the Junior Scór Set Dancers who claimed the County Title recently and are preparing for the Leinster Final next weekend.
We were then given a comprehensive review of the year from Peter Maguire. He detailed the adult teams' run to the Junior Quarter Final and commended all involved in supporting the team during the season as well as acknowledging the great effort and commitment of the players and management.
Peter expressed thanks to Orla Foy for her great work in maintaining the facilities at the Club as well as extending his thanks to Grounds Committee and Lotto Committee for all their hard work in the Club.
He congratulated our Scór na nÓg Set Dancers who won the County Title recently and noted how the Club were looking forward to supporting the girls in the Leinster Final next weekend.
Peter thanked all involved in the ongoing development of our underage academy and remarked on the great work being done by so many in this area.
In his closing remarks, he expressed his Thanks to the Players and Management, Grounds Crew and to the committee and volunteers for their help during the year.
Ken Conroy, Treasurer, provided us with a detailed and thorough report of the club's accounts. This report highlighted the great work being done in the club to develop our facilities and the investment that has taken place on the same. Ken was congratulated from the floor on the detailed accounting that he had provided and for all the hard work involved in producing such a robust report.
Conor Newman, Underage Co Ordinator, reported on the underage development in the club and the growing numbers at this level which is wonderful to see and testament to all the hard work of all our coaches. Conor paid a special thanks to all our underage sponsors throughout the year. He also paid special mention to the various teams which reached finals this year which is testament to the players talent and enthusiasm as well as the great work put in by the coaches.
Chris Cole then provided a detailed report on Registration. He outlined the growing membership at underage level which is testament to the great work being done by all involved at underage level. Girls and boys underage are seeing an increase in numbers and it is hoped that this will continue for next year. Chris emphasised the importance of all players paying their membership in order to be covered by insurance.

We wish all the very best to Ciara Carey, Katie Tyrrell, Sarah Tyrrell, Kate Reynolds, Aoife Dunleavy, Anna Dunleavy, Isabel Maher and Clodagh Dodrill as they embark on a fantastic occasion for them, their families and the club.

125 Year Celebrations
In 2026, Bunbrosna GAA will celebrate 125 years since the foundation of the club. This will be marked with a number of events throughout 2026 and we will keep you updated on same.

Social Walking
Social Walk continues on at the Walking Track in Bun every Wednesday at 7:30pm. All ages and fitness levels are welcome to attend.
Bun Grounds Crew
Grounds Crew meet every Tuesday at 10:30am in Bun for a cup of tea and to do some work around the pitch - all welcome!
