Club Lotto
Club Lotto will take place next Sunday at 12:00pm in the Old Dressing Rooms for anyone that would like to attend. Our Lotto Jackpot is now at €4,500. It continues to be our primary source of revenue to fund the day to day running of the club.
Our Lotto can be done online by clicking on https://bunbrosnagaa.clubifyapp.com/products. Online entries must be in by 11:00am. Thank you to all who support our club lotto.
Membership
Membership for 2026 is now available. The rates of membership this year can be found on Foireann. There are various options available for members as well as for those who wish to avail of access to our Gym or to the Walking Track. All membership must be done through Foireann.
In order to register, log on to your Foireann account from last year and follow the membership prompts. If you don’t have a Foireann account just log onto www.foireann.ie and register a new account and select Bunbrosna as your club. Once you have this done you will be able to select the membership option that suits you best.
Ireland Lights Up Campaign
The ‘Irish Life Healthy Club Steps Challenge’ is back for another year and kicked off on Wednesday January 7th.
If you took part last year, get logged in and get moving again or if you’re new to the challenge, follow the instructions below to get signed up and clock up those steps to help the club be in with a chance of winning a cash prize.
There will also be spot prizes for the top 3 on the club leaderboard at the end of the challenge. Social walking takes place on Wednesday nights on the walking track at 7.30pm and it’s a great opportunity to get out and get off the mark.
125 Year Celebrations
This year, Bunbrosna GAA will celebrate 125 years since the foundation of the club. This will be marked with a number of events throughout 2026 and we will keep you updated on the same.

Commemorative Jersey
To mark our 125th Anniversary this year, we are delighted to release our commemorative 125 year jersey, available to buy online at KC Sports.
Art Competition
To mark 125 years of Bunbrosna GAA, we are calling on all of our younger members to get their thinking caps on and get creative to help us celebrate this great milestone in our clubs history.
We are inviting our underage members to design a poster, create a slogan, write a poem, song, story or rap, create a photo collage, video or piece of artwork or even do an interpretative dance to show what Bunbrosna GAA means to them and mark 125 years of Bun.
There will be a number of prizes for the most creative entries. Entries can be sent to Bunbrosna125@gmail.com or brought along to our Registration Day which will take place on February 14th.
Gaelic for Mothers and Others
We are delighted to announce that our ‘Gaelic for Mothers & Others’ will be returning for the 2026 season. Training will commence in a few weeks. For more info contact Sinéad on 087767259.
Scór Sinsear
Bunbrosna GAA & LGFA are calling for participants for Scór Sinsear 2026. Any individuals or groups over the age of 17 are very welcome to come and represent Bunbrosna on the stage.

Westmeath Camogie
Congratulations to Áine Newman on being announced as U23 County Camogie captain. Well done Áine and we wish you all the best for the year ahead.
Division 3 League
The opening round of the Westmeath All County Football League will take place on the weekend of 21/22 February. No details on our opponents yet. Stay tuned to our social media pages for more details.
Gradaim an Uachtaráin 2026 Recipient
Congratulations from all at Bunbrosna GAA to Kevin Jordan of Southern Gaels GAA who has being announced as one of the Presidents Awards for 2026.
The award is made by the GAA President, Jarlath Burns, to acknowledge individuals who have made an extraordinary contribution to the promotion of Gaelic games at club and county level.
For more than four decades, Kevin has been one of the defining figures of Southern Gaels GAA in Westmeath. As a player, he contributed to some of the club’s most significant achievements, including a landmark 1986 title and a string of Junior B and league successes. His passion for hurling continued well beyond his playing years, earning a Level 1 Hurling Qualification and supporting teams across every age group from underage and schools right through to Intermediate. Well done on this outstanding achievement Kevin.
Social Walking
Social Walk continues on at the Walking Track in Bun every Wednesday at 7:30pm. All ages and fitness levels are welcome to attend.
Bun Grounds Crew
Grounds Crew meet every Tuesday at 10:30am in Bun for a cup of tea and to do some work around the pitch - all welcome.
