LGFA Go Games Blitz

Our U8 and U10 Girls played LGFA Go Games Blitzes on Saturday 16 May in Mullingar Shamrocks.

Our U8s played excellent and entertaining games against Shamrocks, Delvin / St Pauls and Ballycomoyle, after which our U10s took on Finea, Mullingar Shamrocks and Delvin / St Pauls in  some brilliant games!

Very well done to all of the girls on playing such thrilling and fast-flowing football!! A huge thank you to the coaches and mentors for all of their hard work.

Finally, thanks to each of our opponents and to Mullingar Shamrocks for hosting!!

Westmeath U14

Well done to Seamus Clarke who was on  Westmeath U14 team that played two games against North Cork and East Cork on Saturday. Well done to Declan Forde on refereeing the fixtures also.

Inny Shamrocks U12s

A fine Friday evening in Bunbrosna set the stage for a brilliant game of football as our U12s welcomed Mullingar Shamrocks. From the first throw‑in, both sides played with great intensity, sharp movement, and plenty of skill on show across the pitch.

Our lads worked hard in every line, strong defending, clever support play, and some lovely passages of attacking football. The teamwork and communication have really come on, and it showed in how confidently the group moved the ball and created chances.

A special mention to Pierce and Ben who stepped up from the U10s on Friday evening. Both slotted in seamlessly, worked hard for the team, and contributed brilliantly throughout the game.

Overall, it was a hugely enjoyable match with great effort, great attitude, and great football from both teams. Plenty to be proud of and plenty to build on.
