U8 & U10 Blitz
Our Bun U8’s had a good showing in Kinnegad on Saturday over three competitive matches against Mullingar Shamrocks. The growing confidence and teamwork, provided great performances and link up play.
Not to be outdone by their younger teammates, the U10’s turned out in force to face off against Mullingar Shamrocks and the home team. There were great performances throughout the team, with the defence coming under heavy fire, but with the team working as a unit produced some quality scores.
From week to week it is great to see the growth in these young men and their commitment to each other on the pitch. Many thanks to Coralstown Kinnegad for hosting.
Inny Shamrocks U12
Inny Shamrocks' U12s played in Ballynacargy to take on Milltownpass in a Championship fixture on Friday evening, and it was a great occasion from start to finish.
The lads put in a really encouraging performance, showing good composure on the ball and real effort off it. There were strong individual displays throughout the team, and the boys stuck to what they'd worked on in training, moving the ball well and battling hard for every play.
Milltownpass brought a strong, well-organised side and made it a tough, competitive game throughout, exactly the kind of test that helps this group keep developing.
Well done to all the players involved, and thanks to Milltownpass for a great game.
