Well Done to our U8 and U10 boys on Saturday who played two great blitz’s in Bunbrosna on a lovely morning!!

The boys are absolutely flying and they are showing great commitment and huge interest, many thanks to all the parents as well for continued support and commitment.

Inny Shamrocks U12

Inny Shamrocks U12s were honoured to be invited to a memorial match in Castletown Finea Coole Whitehall in memory of Ned Flynn on Saturday. It was a wonderful occasion from start to finish, matched by a wonderful game of ball played in fantastic weather. A great turnout on both sides, and a real credit to everyone involved in organising the day. We thank CFCW sincerely for the invite and for such a warm welcome.

Inny Shamrocks Minors

Congratulations to the Inny Shamrocks Minors that headed for Maryland on Sunday  morning to take part in the Maryland/Tang Sevens tournament. On a hot day and missing several due to illness and various injuries the lads worked their socks off from the first minute to the last and got their reward in the end.

Thanks to the coaches for steering them through and to the parents and supporters who attended. Thanks to Maryland/Tang Underage GAA  for a fantastic event.

Reeling in the Years

As we continue our Reeling in the Years of Bunbrosna, we take a trip back to the early 1960s with this fantastic team photograph (see attached). It captures a proud era in the history of Bunbrosna GAA and the players who represented the club with great pride, commitment and community spirit.

These photographs are more than just team pictures; they tell the story of the people who helped shape our club and laid the foundations for future generations. We are delighted to share these memories and preserve the rich history of Bunbrosna GAA as we celebrate our club’s journey through the years.

If anyone has memories of this team, the matches they played ,we’d love to hear from you. Please feel free to leave a comment below or get in touch with us. Every story, no matter how small, helps keep the history of our club alive.

We would also really appreciate any old Bunbrosna GAA photographs, match programmes, newspaper cuttings or memorabilia that you may have tucked away.

Every photograph, story, and memory helps us preserve the rich history of our club for future generations.

If you have anything you’d like to share, we’d love to hear from you. Email us at bunbrosna125@gmail.com, contact Sinéad on 087 7672529, or simply send us a DM here.
