Club Lotto will take place next Sunday at 12:00pm in the Old Dressing Rooms for anyone that would like to attend. Our Lotto Jackpot is now at €3,800. It continues to be our primary source of revenue to fund the day to day running of the club.

Best of luck from all at the Club to Clann Gaels ahead of their Junior Football Final against Tyrrellspass next Sunday at 4:00pm in Ballynacaragy. We encourage all our members to get out and support the girls on Sunday. 

Our Saturday Coaching Sessions for boys and girls finished for this year on Saturday 26th September.

We were delighted to welcome members of the Inny Shamrocks U16 Championship winning team and the victorious Clann Gaels league shield winners who presented medals and handed out treats to all the children.

We would like to thank all of our coaches, assistant coaches, administrators, and all the parents who helped throughout the year - thank you all!!

Finally, we would like to thank every boy and girl who took part during the year - we hope you enjoyed it, made friends and had fun! And we hope to see you all in 2027!

A big day for our U8 and U10 boys on Saturday, We were very proud to be able to field two teams at U8 and U10 as we made the trip to Ballycomoyle. 

U8s played some excellent football and showed some great commitment and work rate throughout! 

U10s played three very tough and competitive games and played excellently throughout, particularly in the last game against Ballycomoyle, where our final year U10s played arguably their best football of the year! 

We also had a great evening in rock and bowl celebrating the end of the year! We were delighted to be joined by Thomas Cafferkey with the U16 Championship cup won last weekend by Inny Shamrocks and he also showed the lads his Feile All Ireland medal won earlier in the summer! It give the lads a great chance to see an All Ireland Medal and Championship trophy, and they asked some great questions about training and commitment and the enjoyment of winning and representing your club! Many medals await this group of players!! 

Well done to all the lads on a fantastic year! And best of luck to our last year U10s as they go forward to represent the club with Inny Shamrocks next year. Finally a huge thank you to all the parents, for supporting the lads throughout the year and the commitment to training and matches. 

What a brilliant day out on Saturday for the Bunbrosna G4M&O’s as we travelled to Rhode GAA for their annual football blitz.

The Bunbrosna ladies took to the field for five games, coming up against Crinkle GAA, Rhode, Kilbeggan, Ballymore and Fianna. Every single player gave their best throughout the day, with plenty of hard work, great football, laughs and team spirit on show.

Now, as everyone knows, G4M&O’s is completely non-competitive and the score is absolutely not important… so we definitely won’t make a big deal out of the fact that Bunbrosna won all five games! Not that anyone was counting, of course!

One of the most pleasing things to see was how much of what we’ve been working on at training came into our games. Our hand passing, movement and keeping possession of the ball were excellent, and it was great to see the training drills being put into practice on the pitch.

Most importantly, it was a really enjoyable day from start to finish, played in exactly the spirit that G4M&O’s is all about — fun, football, friendship and plenty of craic!

A big thank you to Rhode GAA for hosting a fantastic blitz and to all the teams we played for five very enjoyable games.

And we’re not finished for the year! The Bunbrosna G4M&O’s will continue training throughout the winter months on the Astro, and we’re delighted to be keeping our regular Monday evening slot from 8–9pm.

New faces are always welcome, so if you fancy getting involved, come along and give it a go. No previous football experience needed — all are welcome!

We are delighted to announce that we will be having a Dinner Dance on 30th December in the Greville Arms Hotel to mark our 125 Year Celebrations. This will be a wonderful opportunity to gather as a community and share stories of the clubs history and is a night not to be missed. Tickets will be on sale in the coming weeks. Stay tuned to our social pages for more details.

As our "Reeling in the Years" night on October 24th fast approaches, the club are asking if you have old photos, match day programmes, newspaper articles, or memorabilia connected to Bunbrosna GAA/LGFA that you would like to share on the night.

We have been blown away by the response so far and hope to gather more memories from our club's history. If you or your family have any images, clippings, or stories from years gone by, please get in touch.
