Football

Training has fully resumed after the winter break with large numbers attending each session. There is great enthusiasm in the panel this year and we wish the players, Cormac and his backroom team all the best as they prepare for the opening rounds of the All County Leagues which will be starting soon

Lotto

Everybody at Bunbrosna GAA would like to heartily congratulate Lily Duck, who won our Lotto Jackpot on Wednesday night last. Lily has been a loyal supporter of the lotto down through the years and we hope that she has great plans for spending her prize.

The winning numbers were 9, 11, 13 and 15.The seller’s prize was won by Aidan Geerah.

The next draw is on February 20th and the Jackpot is €2000

Underage Football Réaltaí Óga Registration Day

Bunbrosna/Inny Shamrock’s GAA would like to invite boys aged 4-12 and girls aged 4-10 to come along to our Réaltaí Óga (Young Stars) registration day on Saturday next February16th ,which will take place at the Bunbrosna GAA grounds between 1.00pm and 3.00pm.We will be delighted to see you all on the day and we guarantee that you will develop your football skills in a safe fun filled and inclusive environment ,under the guidance of enthusiastic,dedicated experienced coaches. There will be a special gift for each member on the day Family membership is €75 per year and individual membership is €20.

Well done

Congratulations to Orla Foy who competed in the She’s Ace Ladies Festival Weekend of handball. The competition was held in Breaffy House, Mayo with competitors from throughout Ireland taking part .Orla representing Westmeath won the ladies over 40’s defeating Hayley Kilroy (Mayo) 25-6. The competition an annual event is organized by the GAA Handball in association with Breast Cancer Ireland. Well done to Roisin and Aine Foy who competed and did well in their categories.

Well done to Alfie Jordon who became the two times Gold Medal Champion in the Michael Andrews Boxing Championship recently We wish Alfie continued success and look forward to even greater things from him in the future.

We wish Eddie Newman all the best as he recovers from recent surgery and we hope he will be ready with the clipboard and stats when the 2019 competitions begin.
