Summer Camp

Our annual summer camp was a huge success this week. We were blessed with excellent weather for the three days. Huge crowds attended on each of the days and they were treated to an excellent programme of skill learning , mini games and many novelty items An added and hugely popular addition to this year’s event was our Rounders programme. All participants looked resplendent in their lovely new hoodies which they received on Saturday.What an excellent way for our young Bunbrosnians to start the summer holidays.

Events like the summer camp can never happen without the hard work of so many people who give so freely and willingly of their time and expertise .Senior players coaches club members and parents worked tirelessly for many weeks to ensure that our young members had the best time possible during the camp. We say an enormous thank you to everybody who helped out and would especially like to thank Conor Newman who co ordinated the whole event so professionally.

We are deeply indebted to Maura and David O Reilly, Supermac’s Mace and O Reilly Commercials for their generous sponsorship of the summer camp and support for our young players down through the years.

Lotto

No winner in our latest draw. There were three Match 3 winners Ruth Geerah, Kate O'Brien, Pauline McCormack. Numbers drawn were 7 12 23 25. Seller's prize Dolores McCormack. Next draw is on 10th July in Tormey's. Jackpot now stands at €3000

Rounders

Well done to our mixed team who took on Na Fianna in Dublin. There were great catches by Paul Bardon and Kevin McGowan, with Peter Maguire doing an excellent job as Catcher. In the end however it was to be Na Fianna’s day.

Congratulations

Huge congratulations this week go to Michelle Mulvey and Simon Moorhead who were married on Saturday last .We wish the happy couple every health and happiness in the future
