All County Football League

Our adult team returned to action on Friday evening last when we hosted Ballynacaragy. Despite been short a number of players the lads put in a spirited performance in the first half and trailed by a point 0:07 to 0:06.

In the second half Ballynacargy started brightly and added quick points. They then got a crucial goal which stretched the margin to win on a final score line of 1:14 to 0:09.

Despite the defeat it was great to see the lads back out playing competitive football and to see crowds back at our games even if they are limited to 100 for the time being.

Well done also to Chris Cole and Darragh O Connor who made their competitive debuts for the club.

Underage GO Games

Well done to our U9s and U11s who played a very well contested and sporting set of games against Castletown Finea/C/W on Saturday morning. It was great to see our younger players back on the pitch.

Thanks to our opposition for travelling in great numbers. Our U7 academy were out in force at the same time.

Rounders

Underage training Sat at 6pm. Adults training at 7.20pm.

Club Lotto

Club Lotto will take place on Sunday next at 12:00pm outside the Old Dressing Rooms.

Jackpot is €7700. Tickets may be purchased online by clicking on https://bunbrosnagaa.clubifyapp.com/products. Online entries must be in by 10:00am.

Tickets can also be left in Geerah's on Sunday before 11:00am.

Cash for Clobber

We are collecting clothes again for the cash for clobber initiative. Clothes can be left in the old dressing rooms. All proceeds will go towards purchasing new equipment for underage training.

Congratulations

Congratulations to Gerard and Claire Brennan on the birth of their baby daughter Eliza and to Simon and Becky Maher on the birth of their baby boy Teagan. We wish both families all the very best!

Underage Final

The 2020 U15 Shield Final (Inny Shamrocks and St Loman’s Whites) is being played in Bun next Monday 14 June. We wish the lads all the very best of luck.

Covid 19

It is great to see more of our local businesses opening again in the past few weeks and we look forward to supporting them in the weeks and months and years ahead. It is more important than ever to support our local shops and to thank those local businesses on whom we relied during the pandemic by continuing our support for them.

Summer Camp

With school holidays just around the corner it is with great excitement that we announce that our highly anticipated summer camp returns this year on the 1st and 2nd of July 10am-1pm with underage training as normal on Saturday 3rd July from 1pm-2pm. There will be games, football, Rounders, and guaranteed fun with a few surprises in store. Each child will receive their own camp kit.
