Division 3 A.C.F.L

We played Tyrrellspass on Sunday morning in Division 3 of the league. Played in slippery conditions, Bun got off to a great start with Barry O Mara scoring a goal with a low finish following a flowing move involving Peter Tormey and Kevin Mitchell.

O Mara followed up with another 2 points in a blistering start. Tyrrellspass managed to get a foothold in the game with a couple of points. Points from Peter Tormey & Kevin Mitchell stretched the lead.

Bun continued to dominate possession up to the water break but unable to make it show on the scoreboard after this. This game was turned on it’s head in the last 7 minutes of the first half with Tyrrellspass scoring 2:02 to lead at HT by 4 points.

As the weather improved in the second half Bun tried hard and created chances but were unable to register scores. Tyrrellspass claimed a third goal in the dying moments to record a 3:10 to 1:07 win.
