Club Lotto

Club Lotto will take place next Sunday at 12:00pm in the Old Dressing Rooms for anyone that would like to attend. Our Lotto Jackpot is now at a record €12,000. It continues to be our primary source of revenue to fund the day to day running of the club.

In addition Lotto revenue will fund the next stage of our development. Over the next 2 months, our walking track will be near completion and work will commence on the Ball-Wall and All-Weather playing area. It can be done online by clicking on https://bunbrosnagaa.clubifyapp.com/products. Online entries must be in by 10:00am. Thank you to all who support our club lotto.

Underage Meeting

There will be a meeting in the Old Clubhouse in Bunbrosna at 7:00pm on Friday next 10th February to prepare for the 2023 season and activities, and we are inviting all interested parents or guardians to attend.

We encourage everyone who might be interested to take up a role in helping out and assisting with the underage activities, and especially at coaching, or with administration, fundraising, joining a committee or any other role.

If you are interested in helping out please contact either Conor Newman on 0879330992 or Eoin Clarke on 087 6318541, or come along on Friday 10th February!

Westmeath Senior Footballers

Well done to Westmeath on picking up their first two points of the league when they defeated Longford in Pearse Park on Sunday. This win was much valued given the defeat they suffered in Round 1 against Cavan. They host Offaly on Sunday week in Cusack Park. Our cover photo shows some of our club stalwarts in attendance at the match.

Westmeath Senior Hurlers

Well done to Shane McGovern who lined out at midfield for the Westmeath Senior Hurlers against Clare in the 1st Round of the Allianz Hurling League on Sunday. Sadly, Westmeath were defeated in the end after a battling display.

They host Wexford on Sunday next in Round 2, a side they memorably drew with last season in the Championship, so they will go into this game confident they can get something from this game.

Inny Shamrocks AGM

The AGM of Inny Shamrocks will take place on Tuesday 7th February at 8:00pm in Tormey’s Pub, Bunbrosna. All welcome to attend.

Condolences

All at Bunbrosna GAA wish to offer our sincere condolences to the Doyle family, Ballinalack, on the sad passing of Colette.

To her husband Tommy, sons Darren and Thomas, sisters Liz, Chrissy, Caroline, Veronica and Anne, brothers Tony, Mick and Oliver, extended family and friends, we offer our deepest sympathies to you all at this sad time.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh sí.
