No winner of Club Lotto on Sunday. The numbers drawn were 3, 8, 9 & 19. 6 Match 3 winners were Walter Murphy, Aisling Tormey, Christopher Brennan and Kieran Dodrill. Sellers prize went to Hughie Tormey. Next draw on Sunday 9th April. Jackpot will be €12,400.
Club Developments
This week Midland Sport Surfaces moved onsite for the next stage of our Development, to include Astro Area and Ball Wall. There has been great work done already this week with the addition of boundary fencing on the Astro side of the pitch and basketball court.
League Fixture
We play Garrycastle in Round 5 of Division 3 of the League on Sunday next in BUn. Throw in is at 11:30am. All support is greatly appreciated.
Scór na nÓg County Champions!!
Congratulations to our Instrumental Music team of Anna & Aoife Dunleavy and Béibhinn McGowan who have won the County Title in the Cecil Uirlise category of Scór na nÓg on Sunday evening in Na Dúnta.
Our Set Dancers also won the Sarah Bardon Perpetual Trophy for the best Ladies Set on the night. They came a very close second to the Downs in the Rince Set. Well done to Niamh Molloy, Kate Reynolds, Béibhinn McGowan, Katie Tyrell, Sarah Tyrell, Aoife Dunleavy, Clodagh Dodrill & Anna Dunleavy.
Finally, our Quiz team also put in a great performance on the night but were narrowly defeated. Well done to Cian Gilchrist, Sarah Cawley, Alannah Nally & Arran Nally.
This was a great club performance on the night and all can be very proud of their efforts. Well done also to the coaches for all their hard work in preparing our youngsters for the stage.
Underage Training
We held our second underage training of the year on Saturday last. It was great to again have such a large contingent of enthusiastic boys and girls eager to learn the skills of the game. Training continues on Saturdays at 1:00pm. All welcome to attend.
Westmeath Senior Hurlers
Well to the Westmeath hurlers on Saturday when they defeated Laois in the Relegation Play Off to secure their Division 1 League status for next year. They put in a tremendous performance to secure the win down in Tipperary. Well done to Shane McGovern who lined out at midfield. Shane has had a very good campaign and we are very proud of him at the club.
