ACFL Division 6

We travelled to Moynihan Park on Tuesday evening last to play Ballynacargy in our final game in this Division for the year. Played in glorious sunshine on an excellent surface both teams should be commended on serving up a fine encounter.

The final score of the game was the crucial goal from Ken Conroy in what was a nip and tuck game throughout. Brian Maguire was like a fine wine and scored six points from play in his typical quiet and unassuming manner! Noel Yourell was not to be undone either and he scored five points in what was an excellent performance from both lads.

Bun can be very pleased with the scores they kicked in what was a combination of excellent team play as well as individual brilliance.

Team: Tommy Murphy, Conor Newman, Joe Tormey, Eoin Murray, Eoin McGowan, Gavin Lyons, Luke Kiernan, Noel Yourell, Simon Moorehead, Finian Newman, Brian Maguire, Fintan Finnan, Ken Conroy, Dara Lyons & Cian Tighe. Subs: Chris Cole and Ger Brennan

Fixture

We play Caulry in the opening round of the Junior ‘B’ Championship on Tuesday 6th June at 7:00pm in Bun.

Inny Shamrocks U13 League Champions

Well done to the Inny Shamrocks U13 team who completed a wonderful league campaign by winning the Final on Friday night last against a gallant Multy team in Bunbrosna. The boys put in their best performance of the year in front of a large crowd on a glorious evening.

This was a great reward to all the boys who trained hard in preparation. We look forward to the rest of the year! Many thanks to the players, parents and coaches for all their commitment during the year.

Clann Gaels U12

Well done to the Clann Gaels U12s on a great performance against St. Pauls Delvin Ladies Football in Clonmellon on Tuesday evening last. The team have been going from strength to strength with each match they play, and it's brilliant to see their confidence growing.

Teamwork, exceptional passing movements, superb defending, brave blocking, and top-class scores were all hallmarks of the game. Well done to all involved both coaches and players. Keep up the great work.

State Examinations

Best of luck to all our members who commence their Junior & Leaving Certificate Exams on Wednesday.
