Adult League
On Friday last we travelled to Castletown to take on St Malachy’s in Round 2 of the league.
Bun started the game strongly and recorded early points from Peter Tormey, Darragh Lyons and Ronan Scally. The defence was resolute and there were some exceptional turnovers from our full back line in particular. St Malachy’s did respond with a couple of points but further points from Scally, Mark Donnelly & David Newman saw Bun take an 0:08 to 0:04 lead at half time.
St Malachy’s started the 2nd half strongly and scored a goal shortly after the restart. Bun responded well to this set back with Peter Tormey scoring a fine point from play. Bun were reduced to 14 men 10 minutes into the second half as well as losing a couple of key players to injury. To the team's credit they got stuck in and finished the game in control with a couple of points from Peter Tormey to record a 2 point win.
This was a good win for Bun and displayed the strength in depth of the panel needed in the modern game. Well done to all.

Underage
Well done to our U7s and U9s who travelled to Killucan on Saturday morning for a blitz facing St. Lomans as well as the home team Killucan.
Our U7s, fielding 2 teams and many of who were representing the club for the first time, put in great performances and did themselves proud.
Our U9s fielded two teams against the same opposition and played great football and are improving greatly with every training session and match. Well done everyone! Many thanks to Killucan for hosting such big numbers.
